Post your desktop!

Mmm... Looks like you're using Windowblinds or something...

By the way, Are you using a LCD monitor? That resolution is too high! I'm just using 1024x768 because my 3D programs require it...

Stuck on Linux again - my computer is on its last legs, and was freezing every 20 minutes even on a fresh Windows installation. The crashes are less frequent with Linux, for some reason (but still happening, proving that my computer is about to die).

This is desktop 4/4, where all the random stuff goes. Here you can see my contact list, Nethack game, news reader and BitTorrent client.

This is desktop 1/4, where I do programming mainly. Those two windows have been sitting there for about 10 hours without being touched, as I haven't been in the right frame of mind today.

The other two desktops just hold a Firefox window, and one blank for when things get too cluttered (mainly used when I'm checking my mail).

Yes, I know these screenshots are of a ridiculous size. I don't like JPEG.

This is not my desktop, but its cool the way linux and windows are running at the same time. Its called cooperative linux, try it out ! :)

I don't know whether it is proper to post on my desktop
becuz my language is mainly Chinese... It may seem awful when you
see that...
Doesn't matter, really. The only differences are the Start Menu button, the icon names, and that sort of superficial thing. I think people are generally more interested in what proggies you have and the wallpaper you use.

Ooh..ImageHost is still around.

WinXP Pro SP2 desktop with ObjectDock running on the side:

I've been using this lately, but I was using the built-in Ripple wallpaper for a long time. Nice soothing blue, but I needed a change. Figured some pretty landscapes would do the trick.

I love it! the most secure of all!
I had a lot of annoying **** pop-ups with Internet Explorer and a bunch of spyware, malware, viruses, hackers, trojans... What else? :)

Die IE, Die!!! :msn_devil

That's what the Googlebar extension is for, and no, it isn't official. Besides, the built-in Google search function's probably more than sufficient for most of your needs.

No what? Maybe I'm misinterpreting your post <><>, but I think that the official release isn't all that different from this one, since it's only missing small things like page ratings.
