I'm sitting here at work talking to a lady one the phone who has moved her Windows taskbar to the top of her monitor and doesn't know how to move it back. She's annoying me to death. Anyone else hate their job?
I worked once. It was rubbish. I did have 7 times more income than I do now, but it was a night job and I had college in the day. I had no time to sleep, ever. This job lasted two days, and I made £90.
To be honest I don't REALLY hate my job. I made this thread in the heat of a moment. This lady called in for technical support claiming that installing our Internet software moved her task bar to the top of the screen. Well, this isn't possible at all because our Internet software is just a few web browsers, help files, and FAQ's. We connect our customers via DUN. She was cussing me over stupid shit like her connection speed. I was trying to explain to her that anything she got over 40 kbps was a fine connection. She was already connecting at almost 50 kbps if I remember correctly. She really pissed me off. I could not explain to her how to drag the damn task bar down to the bottom of her screen and she'd stop trying every so often to bitch about connection speed, SPAM, pop ups and so forth. I usually enjoy my job because I can surf the net and I like to talk to people and help them.
