It seems quite a few emulators are a little out of date. Also the reviews for some of them are like GEEZUS out of date...
Also i think it would be good to do like an official and unofficial versions for all of them.
http://www.emucr.com/ (seems to be a good place to get info on releases on emulators)
Also i think there should be individual ratings for each version of each emulator, rather then 1 rating for the entire lifespan of the emulator. As it gives a false image of how the emulator actually is (as im sure most people just get the highest rated). So i think first you should just do a complete reset of every emulator's ratings. (as i think someone has really been trollin the ratings, prime example is no$gba... how the fk is that the highest rated DS emulator???)
Going to go down the list of emulators i have used and/or like.
Gamecube:
Dolphin: your versions is freaking ANCIENT! they update daily, so id suggest atleast posting a link to the dolphin site on the downloads page for this: http://www.dolphin-emulator.com/download.html
Anyway, there is r7553 out, and your sitting on like 4771.
Also the review for dolphin needs to be a little more updated. its FAR past experimental, and runs fine for most all gc and wii games.
N64:
Project64: there is v1.7 beta can be gotten here: https://rs35cg2.rapidshare.com/#!download|35l32|74027564|Project64_1.7.0.49.zip|2695|R~0 but im not so sure if you are able to post this. As to get access to the v1.7 beta apparently you need to have donated to pj64... but umm... the pj64 1.7beta hasnt been updated in like years...
Project64k: v0.22 http://pj64k.blogspot.com/ this one is updated regularly, its based on project64 v1.4 code. it also contains netplay. Its good other then the fact it seems the emulation speed isnt as good as others. i get some lag issues in games like perfect dark, and dont in others. But still a good emulator.
1964: v1.1 http://1964emu.emulation64.com/download.htm has been out awhile but i still see 0.99 here. even though it seems 1.1 (never tried earlier though) is a little buggy on some games. Like zeldas, for some reason opening your inventory takes way longer then it should. And a few other graphics errors. I seen a post down a little bit about this, and the reply was there was no binary, BUT if you actually download the file it has the binary + source. not sure why they dont just let you download the binary.
SNES:
Snes9x: v1.53 http://www.snes9x.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=4909 (contains a couple links to where you can get it). Anyway ya snes9x seems to be starting back up again so you know.
Also the review for snes9x? REALLY? Zsnes is good but freaking ancient... i dont see how zsnes is more compatible? And "Version 1.30b#1" really? v1.3beta is mentioned in this review? GEEZUS!
NES:
Nestopia: seems there is a v1.41 http://www.emucr.com/2011/05/nestopia-unofficial-v1411.html to let you know.
DS:
DeSmuME: Ok this is EXACTLY why i decided to make and accout and post here.... Well there is a newer revision: http://www.emucr.com/2011/05/desmume-svn-r4013.html but thats not what i was irritated about.
The review... "Below is a video which demonstrates DeSmuME v0.7.0 running Super Mario 64. The system used to create this video is an Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 system overclocked to 3 Ghz. Both emulation quality and speed are not quite there yet. " v0.7?? GEEZUS!
this emulator takes the DS cake by FAR! i think it was this exact review why people us no$gba.... no$gba is really terrible.... i have been using emulators since the late 90s/early 2000s with nes/snes/gbc, and i can say, no$gba has to be one of the worst i have ever gotten to use.... i really dont see how its rated as high as it is, or as popular as it is. (all i see people talk about is that emulator).
PSX:
epsxe: i use it and its good, but 1 thing i really dont like about it is, there is no way to stop emulation without closing the emulator. annoying when it comes to switching games. it also hasnt been updated in awhile.
PCSX Reloaded: i havent gotten around to trying it, but was planning on it soon. http://pcsxr.codeplex.com/ seems to have multi os support. Also http://www.emucr.com/2011/05/pcsx-reloaded-svn-r66891.html seem to be unofficial revisions which are being made quite frequently.
PSP:
PCSP: v0.5.2 http://www.pcsp-emu.com/downloads.php?cat_id=1 the site only has v0.3 (GEEZUS). never used it so cant comment, but your version is old lol.
Jpcsp: seems there are unofficial revisions as http://www.emucr.com/2011/05/jpcsp-svn-r2143.html shows they are pushing out updated regularly. again never used psp emulators, so no comment.
Well those are all the emulators i have really seen/used/dealt with.
Plugins:
N64: you are missing the Nrage v2.2 n64 plugin, you can get it in project64k download( http://pj64k.blogspot.com/ ). actually you are missing a lot of video plugins too. you can get lots of the jabo plugins from project64k also.(or project64 v1.7)
you can find a more up to date rice video plugin here (v6.1.8):
http://www.emutalk.net/threads/46949-Aristotle-s-Mudlord-amp-Rice-Video i have no idea if this is the best/most up to date version, but its the latest one i could find from google.
Also you should make the plugins page easier to find, its kind of hidden off to the right and only when you click on a emulator with plugins.
Also i think it would be good to do like an official and unofficial versions for all of them.
