Not all Roms are illegal so that's not really a good point these days.
Anyway, yes threads should have points. A thread that actually discusses something is what attracts members to forums in the first place, most people don't like to hang around places where people just post meaningless stuff and offer no intellectual stimulation.
No, not all threads on the forum have to have points, and we have plenty of good, interesting threads in many categories..
But I still tell people when something is of minimal use or serves no real purpose. Because I'm just expressing my opinion.
It is kind of redudant to say you want to know how many people use illegal software, and then state that we all know all of us uses illegal software anyway; and that wasn't really your question to begin with or else you could have made a simple pole. You asked in detail what software everyone is pirating; that is an entirely different scope vs wanting to know how many people simply pirate.
