Sonic 1 stopped working on Gens

damn...FML... i used to play a lot of Sonic the Hedgehog 1 on Gens for many years and it always worked well. i also remember saving games to be able to load them later at the level i was at without any issues. Tonight i was playing the first few levels of Sonic and then i tried to save it. But for some annoying reason Sonic wont load at all anymore. It stays idle. Every other genesis game will load fine but for some crazy reason Sonic refuses to load anymore and Gens remain idle when i try to load that game. I tried to uninstall/reinstall both the emulator and the sonic rom. i tried to delete every config file or app data that i had but nothing works. any help guys? :(

What version of gens are you using ?

Anyway try retroarch it has got latest gens core:

Lot of fixes.

Every sonic works every time.

You van also try mednafen with mednaffe gui.

Mednafen also emulates sega consoles.

@Yushrajjuu Depends of rom version if its bad rom it can be unplayable.
