I definitely felt like I was winging it, but it was nice to have a conversation that didn't get walked over by traditional board politics, like happens on most other forums. No one came in and started nitpicking and flaming, etc.
The most important thing is that we are still on good terms before and after the debate - that definitely doesn't happen a lot for me.
I don't even give much attention to debates when they are on TV, because it's just pointless deflection by the candidates and they take up air time by saying nothing.
It's easier to judge them by the policies they support and their past public actions, than by what they say "in the now".
