Don't make useless posts, , especially just to suck up to other people....

Anyway.. You still need to be careful about data corruption or instability when overclocking for CPU intensive tasks.. If your chip sucks and can't OC for crap, you'll either get crashes when encoding videos, or corrupt data when using SETI or Folding @ Home, etc and in the end that just translates to worse performance because your CPU has to redo the corrupt calculation results, ending in a longer work cycle for your task..

So, I'm not gonna stop anyone from playing around.. But just make sure you research your hardware and have proper cooling, otherwise your effort will be for jack shit, and you risk fucking your system up in the end with data corruption..

It's a fine line to walk in the end. Just don't expect maricles.
