every torrent I have found so far has the game split into parts, I have not ever seen a GCM file. Is there any way I can make one out of the split parts, or do I have to keep looking?

Read the rules ? I am not sure if we can tell you about it because downloading an illegal stuff is not allowed to discussion here. Maybe I am wrong. Please wait until someone come in and said it is okay or not, ok ? :)

That's true but again...

Send Nintendo an email and ask them if they R fine with all their games for download here. They R not.

Forums and sites claiming U can legally have a ROM if U got the original R lying, U can not.

Forums and sites claiming U can DL a game U don't own, but gotta delete it with in 24 hours, they R lying too, U can't.

They just made that up back in 97 or something, when ROMsites got off the ground, just to try and make it look more legal.

There's no such things as a legal ROM, unless the copyright owners says they have become freeware. Until then, the game is copyright protected for 75 years and thus illegal. Seeing as how all Nintendo games R ESA protected, none of them is legal, and they never will be, until Nintendo says they R.

Make sense ? Perhaps..perhaps not. :)

my question is, why are you on a ROM forum making that kind of argument? that's like going vegetarian while eating a hamburger.

Ok, first of all, I want to try games I own, I want to see the emulator working. I dont have the tools to dump and do not plan to use my money on them. Its like you're saying using the emulator itself is bad.:glare:

Keep everything on the forums legal. Links to web sites with ROMs, illegal mp3 downloads, pornography (that's a no-no!), extreme violence, or anything else considered "indecent" shouldn't be posted. If you're in doubt as to posting something, then by all means feel free to ask about it.

Yoster,

Since this is an English forum we ask that all communication be in English. Ideally this means using proper English, with appropriate punctuation and capitalization, at all times. Excessive abbreviations and "l33t speak" are particularly unwelcome. We appreciate that English is not the first language of many of our members but ask that they try their best never-the-less; though in fairness, it is the native English speakers who abuse these guidelines most often.

Thank you.

Stay clean!!!!!! ;)

I don't see anything against the rules in this. We all download illegal ROMs here and he doesn't request GC games, does he?
So to answer the question: you probably download scene releases of the GC games, which are compressed into may parts. Use WinRAR to extract them to a .gcm or .iso file, which can be loaded by Dolphin.
@datadyne: When you take caution what you download, it is perfectly safe to download anything with torrents. Just keep in mind that you automatically upload with torrents. Here in Holland downloading movies is legel, but uploading isn't. That's why I use Usenet for my movies ;)
