The in-game save function for games like Super Mario World and Super Metroid doesn't work properly. Once I exit the game the save is gone. Same thing with save states. Is there any way to save the game and keep it so I can load the save a couple days later?

What's the best audio/video settings I can get with zsnes? My setting now are:

Video:

640 x 480 DS W
Video Filters: None Enabled
Scanlines: None
Hi-Res Mode 7 Enabled
VSync Enabled

Sound:

Sound Switches: Enable Sound and Enable Stereo Sound
Sampling Rate: 32000HZ
Interpolation: Gaussian
Lowpass: None

I don't know. Why don't you use snes9x 1.51 because it have more games running better than zsnes 1.51. The zsnes 1.51 have known for some games that are not running at all. :)

I've had a simliar problem. I use save state after saving a game in case something like this happens. And about the video and sound, this is my configuration:

640 x 480 DS FULL
Video Filters: Interpolation
Scanlines: None
Hi-Res Mode 7 Disabled
VSync Disabled
Triple Buffering Enabled (no need for VSync when you have this enabled).

Sound:

Sound Switches: Enable Sound and Enable Stereo Sound
Sampling Rate: 48000Hz (DVD quality sound).
Interpolation: Gaussian
Lowpass: None

Spellsong

Gray Mage
My settings.

512 x 448 DS W
Video Filters: Interpretation
Scanlines: 25%
Hi-Res Mode 7 Enabled
VSync Disabled (Useless IMO)
Gamma 3-4 (To fix the darkness Scanlines creates)
