Emulations include ALL the quirks and code cheats of the arcade versions??

Hey, I just want to know if things like Mario's hand on the rail keeps barrel from coming down on him in Donkey Kong, or in Phoenix, hitting three formation-flying birds in a row gives (i think) 100,000 points.. etc...

Basically, are those things in the ROMs? because i dont know if I'm doing it wrong or if the roms dont replicate everything to a T.

I'm eager for an answer on this so, THANK YOU in advance. in other words dont leave me hanging!! :mellow:

Arcade roms are dumped from the original arcade boards so if it was in the arcade game then it will be in mame. Be aware that many games had lots of different revisions, clones and versions released many of which changed gameplay tricks and scoring. Check the mameinfo document or Maws for more information about specific rom revisions.
