drivers that say games work that dont (mame + 103u5)

ok ok ok I know this is a mojr wip buuuut anyway. I am addressing the stv driver. Which is segas triton video game system. I got the roms and some VERY few actualy work at all. And some say that the game isnt supposed to be played in this country. DUH I assume this is a dip setting not yet emulated for bios or a bios not yet created. ANYWAY. Some of the i get the stv splash screen with beautiful red letter saying check the game for improper installation. hen i go into service mode the game doesnt show in the cart list at all. soooo is there any work actively being done on this driver?????? does anyone know at all, please and thak ya.

MAMEdev is certainly working on this driver. It is just that you can't say how fast something will be updated/improved. I suggest you check here sometimes to see if new progress is being made. And of course always check whatsnew.txt from the latest MAME

You can fix the country problem yourself.

Right-click on the game, Properties, Miscellaneous, BIOS

Choose the country of the bios to suit the game. And it might run.

For example, Die Hard Arcade, choose the USA bios.
Dynamite Deka, choose the Japanese bios.
