Chrono Cross Status Screen Freeze

I searched for Chrono Cross and read all the threads. My question has been asked before but no answer was given. When I try to enter the status screen the game just gives me a black screen.

Using ePSXe 1.5.2
Pete's OpenGL2 2.7
Eternal SPU 1.41
ePSXe CDR WNT/W2K core 1.5.2
Runnning game from ISO

Windows XP SP2
3.00 Ghz IP4
512 (384) MB RAM
ATI MOBILITY RADEON 9000/9100 IGP
--128 MB Shared Memory

Weird, it should work on ePSXe version 1.5.2. I'd try another GPU plugin, like Pete's D3D or OGL (not OGL2), or even another emulator such as PSXeven

Only works on PSXeven but show slowdown even though the FPS showed 60. Other emulators gave a black screen.

Wait dont listen to the other guys. Use epsxe version 1.5.2 and go to config and then video.Select any of the petes because they are the best. then click on configure.look under misc and check special game fixes. Then click on the [...] icon right beside it. Go down 12 boxes and check the boxes titled odd/even bit hack. says its needed fpr 1.5.2 :bleh:
