I like how in GBA games I get 200-300% with the speed toggle, which is really the perfect amount.
But I'm trying to playing Pokemon Crystal now, over a decade after I lost my actual game, and am getting 2000-4000% with the toggle. I only want to use it because the game lacks the running feature which always annoyed me.
Unfortunately, even if I start running all of Oblivion, Sims 4 and Firefox with 12 tabs in the background and setting the graphic filters to the highest quality, I'm still getting 1800-2600%.
I get that it's based off CPU speed but 2Ghz isn't that much (I'm assuming the fact that there are four cores is irrelevant in VBA?).
Is there any way to tell it to use only a tiny bit of power or a way to limit the toggle speed?
I'm guessing there's no running mod either...
