Looks like someone added Ares to the SNES section and nowhere else? Note that Ares has hundreds of bugfixes that won't be backported to higan. The accuracy of each 2d core is documented here: https://www.retrowide.com/stuff/ares_compat.htm It's up to 7 systems with no known bugs.

FYI, the author of bsnes and higan passed away this year. Before he died, he changed higan's name to ares and put it under a more open license. Ares has several new cores higan doesn't like Colecovision, NGPC, PCE, PS1, and N64. Ares is still in active development...
