i was thinkin of gettin an mini ipod and i heard the batterys run out (not work) after a year and the new batt costs bout the same as an ipod????
is this true

You better ask the company owners about how much cost is the battery before you buy iPod.

lithium batteries are all like that. They sooner or later will start to hold less power. It depends on how your use them. If you leave them on the charger for 24 hours, over charging it, it will loose power capacity.
