brightness in epsxe

Hello, I was wondering if there is a way to up the brightness on this emulator. On some games, I cannot see were I am going as it is too dark. This is espeshally frustrating on racing games etc.

I am using petes opengl2 plugin in windowed mode. I also tried the d3d plugin, it has a gamma setting but it is only for full screen mode.

Has 'pete' released a better open gl or d3d plugin that has decent optiond for brightness/gamma for both window and full screen modes?

I also tried setting the overlay gamma higher in my card settings, but this emu doesn't use overlays from the looks of it.

I'm exactely in the same situation -__- I also use pete's opengl2 plugin and have many problems with dark places where I cant see what Im doing or where Im going. I hope ePSXe has a latest version where you can increase the brightness/gamma of the game.
