Noob question - v sorry

Hi guys,

I just downloaded MAME32.

I've downloaded the CHD for Hyper Athlete and the Zip file. I put the zip file in my rom folder and created another folder in there for the CHD file,and MAME32 does seem to be finding them ok, but i may be missing file or something.

When i try to run the game i get the following message :-

999a01.7e NOT FOUND

I'm sure it's something very stupid i've missed out, i've tried to search for an answer, i think it might have something do with a 'bios number' but then again i may be way off.

I'd appreciate any help.

Hi,

I searched internet and found the missing file in 'konamigv.zip' which i downloaded and put in rom folder.

Unfortunately, now game starts to loads then crashes.

Mame32 states in bottom right corner that:-

video emulation isn't 100% accuate
sound emulation isn't 100% accuate

Does anyone know if that means game is corrupt, or is there something else i'm not doing or need ??

It's not your fault or the rom...To put it simple,the emulator (MAME) doesn't accurately emulate the game and it doesn't work,or it works with bad display or sound.

OK cool,

i'll just try another game.
