With a Core2Duo, 2 GB of RAM and a more powerful video card than the 6600, you can play at least at a decent speed, so... forget it. Much cheaper getting a real PS2.
I have a GeForce 6600 GT and it runs PCSX2 just fine with decent frame rates some 30 some 50+. GPU power doesn't matter nearly as much as CPU power. It's ZeroGS that requires a high end video card.
