well i don't think that you understand my problem...
it's i can't start the whole Disk1 so i want a save file for it in the beginning of the game and in normal status because i didn't play this game before and i started from Disk2 with a Memcard file but with full status

please help...

ohhh man i thought i just missed the first FMV :dry:

any way can i rename the characters after the first time?

Apparently you can't do so especially Barret and Cloud on the first save point.
