Having some Retroarch problems...

Weeks ago I got a new cpu since the previous one had a screen problem like flickering black screen, currently my operating system is a Windows 10 which I am using, so I have to start from zero.

Cutting to the chase, when I downloaded Retroarch from their main page, the bios from a archive page and configured the roms and cores, I thought that would be it all.

However, when I tried to boot a PSX game with the Swanstation core, after a few seconds, without any prior warning the emulator itself closes. Although other PSX core like PSX Beetle works fine.

Another problem I encountered is that the restart once I click on it, it closes...but it doesn't reopen as it should be usually.

I ask, how could I fix these issues? It's the core that is damaged? And how can I make the restart work as the way it should be?

Hoping for answers.

@Genmu20 Try other video outputs.

And by the way good to see you back.

Also you can have retroarch in your native language.

You can set the number of threads too.

Also try rewind and throttle.

Those are my ideas.

@Genmu20 For get your language you need update languages from updater option.

You can also write your issues directly to retroarch developers.

Write here: https://github.com/libretro/RetroArch/issues

And wait for their answer you need have github account.

They have lot of work because its 2000 issues.

You can also download beata of retroarch fixed old bugs and have new.

Or its alpha version called nightly.

About video outputs it worked by changing into d3d11, so thanks about that. (y)

However about rewind, still having that problem since if I click the "reset"option, it closes but never reopen (Pic below to see what I mean)

I attempted to configure them by having the exact config as you have (as the pics you showed to me), but unfortunately no change...

Is there an alternative option for the restart issue?

@Genmu20 Update controller profiles.

And about restart i have no idea.

Could you try other gui ?

It can be gui issue.

Im using ozone gui and restart works pefectly.

And i dont show how to set filters in latest version.

After you update both shaders go here:

Well, moving away from the restart problem...

Can you help me by telling which shade on Retroarch is the equivalent of gba-color.shader from mGBA? (The one who fix oversaturation color of the games)

To give you an idea of what I mean, here are some images to demonstrate:
