Because Github was buyed by microsoft its not safe anymore and can collect data.

Bitbucket should be free pricing,codeberg is totally free and gitlab is for money.

Did not know that they were bought by Microsoft. I am from the crypto space and work for one web3 project, Solcial (we do not have open-source code on github that can be critical for users if it is hacked or accessed by third parties), and almost all project have their code on github that is open-sourced. It can be dangerous as you may have funds and be connected to these projects using your wallets. The big risk of losing what you have. thank you for the information.
