ive had this same prob with the SF alpha rom, i only see squares and rectangles, i think i need some sort of files, where can i find these?

we are thinking of buying a new computer and i didnt recommend an xp because i heard bad things. but just in case: Which emulators work greatly for the XP? i just want names, not extra files i need that the 2000 doesnt need.
