ePSXe - possible to run ISO files from DVD disk??

well I finally got ePSXe to run on my laptop, after lots of plug-in switching and settings changes. I am using an ISO file for now, and (barely) running GT2 tho I think GT2 may be too much for the laptop (but that for another discussion, not this one)... but at least now I know it works and I can get to other games.

My question is this... my laptop HD space is limited. I was thinking that now I know I can use ISO files - can I copy 4 or 5 ISO files to a DVD and start/play the ISO files from the DVD disk? or would this be defeating the whole purpose of using an ISO file?

the way I see it, IT should work, it would still be recognized as a Directory (or location of the ISO-where the emu will access and load the data)

if the emulator can't find or access the file you'll get errors of course,

anyway, yea it will be SLOW

nothing is being written on the dvd anyway, it's just being accessed and read.

all other emulator files are set and configured on their own directories (states, mcard etc)

--edit--

I've tried a crazy deed before, I mounted an ISO from a CD on Daemontools, of course, it worked :p
so theoretically directly linking it on "PLAY ISO" should work :razzber:

cheers!
