I only have a 1 Ghz chip, but thanks to the over/under clocking feature, I can play Jedi Power Battles at full speed on Chankast!
Other games not so much. But with tweaks to my desktop settings it is getting better. I have heard Chankast is CPU driven, but the performance of a game called Cannon Spike makes me think that a cheap RAM upgrade might fix the problem.
I've got Cannon Spike running at 70% most of the time. Bosses slow it down to 50%. But with only one enemy sprite on the screen the game speeds up to 90% !
I know with PC games things slow down when the RAM gets overwhelmed with sprites. This looks to be a RAM issue, but I could be wrong.
Any thoughts?
