You dont need a spare battery. You can boot up with your charger plugged in then insert the battery to flash it back to its normal state.
Also it seems like my "bricked" psp isnt brick but totally FUBAR. Something is up with the power circuit. Im gonna pull my working PSP apart are try parts from that to see if i can found out which part is broken and see if I can buy a replacement.
