    Default File format Problem

So i set up my emulator on my psp, and its running great and all is well. I have 4 roms on it of the .SMC format. Anda sh*tload of other ones in just regular "File" format. And they dont show up on my psp as the playable game even though theyre on there. So my question is, how can i convert those roms to .SMC, so i can play them on my psp?

I know they are working roms too. because they work fine on the snes9x on my pc.

Just rename the files to ***.smc, probably those are the same type but without extension.
