ePSXe HELP complete Noob

I have gotten pretty good using any of the Nintendo emulators and roms but i am having some serious problems with playstation emulators

I have epsxe 1.6 i think and all of the plugins and bios necessary. my problem is that i dont know what is in the computer im using since i cant access the control panel to look and I need to know what configuration i should be using to run my Final Fantasy 7 disc on this computer (it does have a DVD-rom) I would also like to know if i need a different setup to run an iso of this disc rather than the disc itself?

p.s. all other steups i have used have gotten me to a black screen or shown some error message.

Try these plugins

peopsoft gpu v1.17 (The Most Compatible)
peopogl 1.76 (for enchance graphics)

eternal spu 1.41

thats all you need to have epsxe working. to run an iso hit File>Run ISO for Images or File>Run Cd to run a cd-rom.
