Problems with .mds and .mdf files

After I mount the file in Daemon Tools and I try to run it, my screen just turns black.

I've tried to turn it into an ISO but it also turns black.

I've tried switching bios and that doesn't work.

I have no idea what to do next.

If you downloaded it it maybe a corrupt iso.

When I open my alcohol and try to mount the image it won't do it. The mount image option is all black, and clicking it does absolutely nothing. I don't have access to it.
