Every time I play the game downloaded off of different sites it always starts on world 0-1 and some dont have a title screen. Is there a patch to make it normal or a site I could get it from that doent have 0-1 version?

why patch ? What do you mean ? Super Mario Bros for NES emulator do not need a patch at all!

I guess he downloaded a wrong rom.
I always download the [u] (!) version.
