Default ePSXe CDR WinNT/W2k can cause damage?!?!

Hey guys and thanks for reading. I've been copying all my games to isos but the ASPI wont work for me, moobys2 wont read disks but the WinNT/W2K core CD Plugin will read my disks, but it says that if i enable any/some of the subchannel options, it may cause my cd writer/reader to not work. Normally i would blow this off as may not run games, but it says use at your own risk with !!! at the end, which leads me to believe it will cause permanent damage. What's the deal?

Oh btw guys i just found a new plugin called Xeven's CDR and not only does it work great, it doesnt have any misleading intimidating options. I would still like to know exactly what the WINNT/W2K CDR Plugin is trying to say though...

Most writers of freeware programs or files often put such a disclaimer, just in case in the unlikely event that something bad happens. ePSXe has such a disclaimer, somewhere, as well. You leave your house during the day, but are vulnerable to getting struck by lightning, right?
I hate all of you, especially donkeyknob.
