Thread: PS2 Emulator problems.

    I believe that i downloaded a PS2 emulator if i read carrectly, but i config. the image of the PS2 game (Final FAntasy X) but it says it cant read it or someone bull crap like that.... plz help i am new to this

    Well there is no PS2 emulator that will play commercial games, so that could explain why it won't work. :P

    True.. true... to the extent of playing it though. FF X does boot. I personally have not got it to work, but the screenshots are out and about to prove it. For myself I think the problem lay in my image file.

    Drohk - try ripping the game again with some different apps and try using the DVD itself. You never know. It may just work - (and make sure you use the correct BIOS - not the pre-packaged one... you want ---> SCPH10000.BIN)

    Personally i would agree with onewecallgod...

    If you want to run FFX, you need the following:

    a 128 MB 3D accelerator
    a fast cpu
    *enable recompiler
    *and enable patches

    * you can find these options in the cpu section of pcsx2, if you are using it! and enable these options at your own risk!!!!

    but then read onewecallgod's post. :P
