ZSNES TV Quality

Here is my question I want to know how to either get snes9x or zsnes to look exactly or close enough to what the games looked like on the actual tv. I see on zsnes there is an NTSC filter is there a way to ajust it so it looks like tv quality if so please tell me.

Set it to 640x480 and set scanlines to 25%.

If you're going to play ZSNES on a TV (a regular 4:3 one, not LCD or plasma), set it to interlaced mode or increase the flicker (that depends on the brand and driver) and set ZSNES resolution to 640x480 DS FULL with no filtering activated (no interpolation, no scanlines, etc).
