    Default Weird Zsnes Speed Problem

Hi everyone, i recently installed the zsnes for my computer and all the snes roms that i try and play on it go really slowly unless i'm holding down a button. Like if i hold down a directional arrow it will go at a normal speed, but as soon as i let go it was slow down to almost unmoving. Its really weird because if it was my computer just holding down a button wouldn't make it go faster. So can anyone help me out with this, it really bugs me that i have to hold down a key to be able to play a game at normal speed.

K well, i did get it from this site, sorry i didn't specify that, and i used install instead of download, i guess i'm just a little rusty on my lingo lol. ANyways its no problem now, I turned the sound for the game off and it runs smoothly, it just seems strange though that pushing forwards and stuff made it run better than if i let the controls alone. But ya the computer is actually really good, but we have been having some problems with it. It seems that some program is running all the time and using up like 99% of the CPU usage, but i don't care because its not my computer lol. Anyways i fixed the problem i just don't have the sound in the game, i just pop up media player and listen to songs instead.

Is your PC real old??? Cause you need a really crappy old PC to experience that kind of problems.
