    Default saving in fire red

i cant save in fire red. when i do it gives me a save error. and at the beginning of the game it says "The 1M sub-circuit board is not installed." I've tried changing the save type to automatic and other types, and i changed it to 128k. i also change settings to real time clock. still does not work.

    help me pls.

Ok. delete the battery file. then, go into VBA and change the save type to 128k. then start the game. Save. it should work perfectly, as long as you change the save type back to automatic as well.

now, you can change it back to 64k so the other gmes will work, and it sould work too. you need to do the same with pkmn mystery dungeon and other pkmn games, but make sure the battery file is made orrigionally in 128k.

    Another question
When completing the game, you are supposed to go back to your starting town (so you can go to the.. 'mystery dungeon' i guess, to catch mewtwo)

    Does this work then?

    Greetz!

I believe so. FireRed and LeafGreen are not incomplete games compared to something like Shiny Gold or Diamond and Pearl.

Of course i have to start all over again, so im holding off playing it until i know if i can carry on playing after the elite four.
