i need help of NDS emulator users

i've just downloaded the
NDeSmuME Version 0.4.0
please tell me if i downloaded the best and what i need to do next to play the games
if possible a list of compatibily roms and what emulator plays them please

The best so far is iDeaS, even if on the main site is placed at second place in ratings. To play the games, you need them (obviously). Download or rip the games (we won't tell you where to get them or how to do it) and load it with the emulator. And here's the compatibility list. It may not be up to date.
