    Question Re: Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp

Are you using a cd or an image? Check to see if the cdrom is good with no scratches or dirty. What emulator are you playing it on and with what plugins?

I looked around everyone says these are the best settings althougth these settings arent for the plugin you rusing

    tatus: Fully playable

    Emulator: [Default]
    Video: PeteOpenGL 1.62
    "FPS-Limit" = 60
    "Off-Screen Drawing" = 3
    "Framebuffer Textures" = 2
    "Full VRam Primitives"
    "Special Game Fix" = 0x0200
    Audio: [Default]
    Bios: [Default]
    Patch: "Paradox"

Major Problems: [1] Game won´t start
[2] Yellow rectangle in battle menu missing
Solution: [1] Apply "Paradox" patch to all discs
[2] Activate "Final Fantasy 9" special game fix in Pete´s GPU
Glitches: Little junk when in "Trance" mode

Comments: If the gameplay is too slow, just mess with the frame rates. If you encounter
framerate slowdowns with certain spells or sub-menues turn off
    "Full VRam Primitives (FVP)".

try these with the plugin it mentions

Something like this happened when playing Final Fantasy VIII. I defeated Ultimecia and the game crashed. I was using an European (PAL) game. When I switched to American (NTSC) game, it went OK.

did you download this game in files and combined them with winrar? or did you torrent the iso? Just a suggestion but maybe whoever ripped the game, didnt do a great job and it messed up at the end? have you tried a diff. iso game ? or anything.. But then again you said you used the cd (im assuming u meant litterally the ps1 game) and it still happend.. hmmm
