    Unhappy Pokemon Blue and BGB Emulation: Problem With Box Swapping

    Hi all;
    Using the aforementioned emulator and game, when ever I try and access one of the other storage boxes, the game seems to corrupt as below;

    Box 1 however works fine, so does anyone know what causes this? I've updated both BGB and to the latest version of Pokemon Blue that I could find, but to no avail... any ideas folks?

    What emulator are you using? Try using VisualBoyAdvance.

    Have you got any cheats enabled.

    Hi again;

    The emulator is BGB, which I use because it allows link ups, but I downloaded VisualBoy and it has the same problem; data in Storage Box 2 onwards appears broken, so you can't store more Pokemon. No cheats were used in either emulator.

    It could be that your ROM is corrupted...have you tried getting another?

    Yes, I've already tried VisualBoyAdvance, and redownloaded the "Pokemon - Blue Version (UE) [S][!]" rom from **********... But it doesn't work in either BGB or VBA emulators (and I can't, after a quick look, get no$gbc to work at all). The only consistant thing between attempts is using the same saved game once the emulator or ROM is updated; I've not had time yet to try the redownloaded rom from the start until I can get to a Pokemon storing computer and see if it's other boxes are corrupt when using a fresh save file and from the start... but any emulator I open the current saved game in it is corrupt in all of them.

    I can't get no$gbc to work... And is there no way to uncorrupt the save game? If I have to start again, to be honest I just won't bother, the game isn't that much fun to have to play through all those hours a second time to get back to where the saved game was.
