I patched the game with links, and I'm still getting a black screen when I try to load. What can I do?

ok make a new directory and put ur patched game in it
extract ipswinger.rar in this dir and put lgc-pkmd.ips in it

so you have

IPSWin.exe
lgc-pkmd.ips
1016 - Pokemon Pearl (U)(Legacy).nds

then start ipswin.exe , browse for the game file and the ips file and press patch




now start nogba
option>emulation setup>NDS catridge backup>Flash 256 or 512
options>save options

now play as much as you want then press "X" button (i config it to "Q")

then save your game

exit nogba and run again

the game well as you to continue or to play a new fame

i did all that and i can't create a .sav file

Hi, I've followed all the above instructions and searched the forum, but still couldn't find my error message:
"A communication error has occurred.
If you were in the Union Room, you will be returned there.
In all other cases, you will be returned to wherever you last saved.
Please press the A Button."
And when I press the A Button, the screen goes a white blank. I have to go into the Battery folder and delete my .SAV file and restart, if I want to avoid this error. However, everytime I save, the same error comes up again.



My settings are as follows:



I've played around with the settings, testing out all the save types, but nothing works. And yes, I remembered to do the save options part.

Any help is deeply appreciated, thanks.

I've got the ROM, No$GBA, unzipped them both, etc. The game WORKS but it is extremely slow. Lots of people have this problem, and it's kind of the only thing preventing anyone from enjoying these games. Hell, I already know how to fucking save by browsing these forums, and that isn't even my problem. So, if anyone knows how to make the Emulation faster, like settings wise or anything, please, reply back. Any help is greatly appreciated.
