Is there a way to get Star Wars (Atari) working on MAME32?

It doesn't even show up in my list, though I'm pretty sure I have all the right roms. Is there a parent rom I should get to make it work, or is there perhaps something else I've missed? I'm missing my wire-frame action!

Have you got all the bios n that?

As far as I can ascertain, I do indeed have all bios files that you need to run MAME. Could I be missing an important one for Star Wars? Please let me know.

Well i gave it a go there myself it doesnt work for me either my guess is that its not ready yet You can check MAWS to see the details.

Ah I see. Thanks for your replies 2097, at least I'm not on my own then! If you hear of a way to get it working please let me know here. I'm always hanging around even if I don't post. I'll do the same if I hear of a solution.

Works ok for me on Mame32 0.114.

I think there was a change in one of the previous updates that broke it, but with an up to date rom it should be ok.

If select 'All games' in the left hand Mame32 menu, then you right click the entry for Star Wars in the mame32 game list and click audit it should advise you if any required files are missing.

I had just got a recent version of the rom but my mame is 0.112 which is most likley the problem updating the mame to 0.114 is the solution here
