Default ssi - shtml - emulate at home

    hi all,

after looking around some threads in here i figure this Q might be an unusual neighbour,
but i'm stumped, so here goes anyway

i want to write some web pages in shtml, (not a biggie),
but i'll be hanged if i can figure out how to emulate ssi at home,
i dont want to have to log into the server and upload my pages just to test em,
it's a bit of a pain for me that way,

so i want to run a servlet or something at home that will let me see what the pages are going to look like uploaded (i AM using includes, cannot get away from them)

    cheers,
    B.

You need to download and setup Apache. Or your could try this http://www.analogx.com/contents/down...work/sswww.htm

You could usep WAMP. This guide also explains how to set up SSI.
