    Question Rice's plugin, help!

Hey I'm new to ripping sprites with Rice's plugin. Sorry to be a noob but I need help. I'm not sure if I'm doing the right thing to rip textures.

In my Project 64 plugin folder are two folders: "hires_textures" and "texture_dump".

In the "texture_dump" folder is "PAPER MARIO".

So I check the dump texture box in rice then I uncheck it. When I check in the PAPER MARIO folder nothing's there! What the heck am I doing wrong?! Someone please help!

It doesnt sound like your doing anything wrong. But why are you unchecking the the "dump textures" box.

Keep it checked, play the game, uncheck it and check the folder in texture_dump.

I'm still confused...can someone please take me step by step? That will sure help. (I have Project 64 v1.6 and Rice's video plugin 6.1.1 beta10. I also have MS Vista if that helps)

Ok what are you trying to do? If you want to dump textures all you have to do is make sure your using the Rice plugin (dont use 6.1.1 beta, Rice 6.1.0 will do). In the plugin option, make sure you check the box that says dump textures and the box that says load hires if available, (you dont need to unckeck the box at all).

If that doesnt work, then your probably putting the textures_dump folder in the wrong place. It should be in the same place were hires_textures folder is in.
