Problems with Pkmn Ruby

Hi,

my problem is:

I will save Pkmn Ruby and I press 'file' and then save. Ok, i think thats the right way but then when I want to load that file, the game (or the Visual boy advance or the pc) doesnt find the file...what can I do??
