    Default Banjo-Tooie and Project 64

I am Playing Banjo-Tooie on Project 64, and it keeps freezing up on me after 5 minutes of play. I am curious is there is a reason for this and what I can do to fix it if there is a way. I am running all the plugin that came with Project64 1.6 and I have a decent computer. The game runs fine until it freezes.

It happens to everyone. It's a core issue that will hopefully be fixed in Project64 1.7.

Does this happen with every game or just this game? If it is multiple games, is there a way for me to check which games this happens too?

It happens in some games such as Body Harvest. To find out if a game is having core issues, load the directory from the Project64 browser and check the core/plugin notes. In this case, Banjo-Tooie has both video and core known issues which are:

    Core Issues:

    • Freezing (just like your case).
    • Timing (audio and video desync).
    • Pause between areas.

    Video Issues:

    • Glitchy puzzle pieces.
