Ok, i came here and downloaded a PS2 emulator. The thing is... i dont know how to play games on it! please help me out, and remember im a big noob.

Its not really worth it.. Very few games even run, if at all properly

Nothing yet. I can barely get above 4-5 FPS running the (God forgive I mention it) BIOS. And my luck has been tough when trying to boot any commerical games. At the stage PS2 emulation is in - noobs beware! It is a tad bit of a patience tester when trying to get anything at all to display. When the day comes that it works well - I'm sure you'll know about it. It will be BIG news.

are there even homebrew games for PS2 emulator? if there isnt, then Xbox must be a lot farther....

Indeed there is. Homebrew demos are the only things "playable" right now - and they're entirely legal of course. So, if anyone's interested here's a link to a handful of them:
