problems w/ FF1

I have some problems with Final Fantasy 1 on ePSXe 1.6.0. The first problem is the sound, it's really chopsy and its like there are really small pauses between each fragment of sound. The second problem is that when you want to save, ePSXe crashes. I tried all the sound plugins on this site and some gave no sound at all, and the rest were like i said, chopsy.

How to fix this?

you mean final fantasy origins?

try epsxe 1.5.2
That version generally runs FF games better.

Try a different emulator like Psxeven V.19.
