ePSXe on Latitude cpt... setup help needed

I am trying unsuccessfully to run ePSXe on my laptop. I know the program/files/plugin are all good as I copied them from a PC that they do work on. However on the laptop it wont work. I have tried several video plugins to no avail. when I click "Run CDROM" from the "frontend" it goes to black screen, then stays at black screen with no activity. I have set the video plugins to display FPS in top-left and it does show this info though FPS = 0.00

any ideas on setup for my laptop and ePSXe???

your laptop seems a bit old. Check to see if you meet the minimum requirements: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EPSXe

Also, try running from an ISO instead of the cd.
