    Thumbs up Graphics question

    hello all

i just wanna start off by saying that your website has helped me very much in understanding how emulators and such work

now that I am off to a good start, i am just wondering if any of you also have noticed this...

I have Project64 in working order and playing my favorite games smoothly with no problems, however, I have noticed that the graphics are very "sharp" and are different from what the original nintendo 64 produced. I do understand that this has to do with graphics cards and such...

Is there any way to change the settings from the emulator to make them more "cartoon-like" the way the original 64 was?

and if any of you have changed anything, do you care to share what these settings are?

    thanks guys (and gals)

    Default Re: Graphics question

Graphics are sharp because a monitor is not the same as a TV and the resolution by default is 640x480 while a genuine Nintendo 64 resolution is 256x224 (same resolution as the NES and the SNES).

Games that use Expansion Pak such as "Castlevania: Legacy Of Darkness" and "Excitebike 64" increase the resolution up to 640x480.
