    You mean safe like virus-free emulators?

    Only if you download them from sources you trust, they're safe. For example, this site and their official sites.

    Yes i mean for viruses.
    Now i am at my home's pc and i dowloaded a snes emulator(from emulator-zone.com)Are the emulators safe?

    Well i think <removed> is a preety good place 2 git roms but of course i dont git viruses because i use a mac nor do i scan for them but i would trust coolrom thats were i git most of my roms

    Please, remove that ROM site link as soon as possible, because it's against Emulator-Zone's forum rules. As far as I know, ROMs don't contain viruses or suppose to be a treath, so they're safe.

    True, there are just some TOSEC ones who contain some old compute viruses, such as C64 viruses, but these are harmless for your PC.
