Use save from VBA in TGB Dual

Ok, here's the situation. I downloaded Visual Boy Advance and I've been playing Pokemon Yellow for aout a week and now I want to trade my Kadabar so I can evolve it into an Alakazam. So, I searched on the internet and found VBALink, but on the site it lists it is not compatible with Pokemon Yellow. I found this out after I tried getting it to work forever. Then I ran across TGB Dual, which does work with Pokemon Yellow. However, I would need to load my game that I saved from VBA in order to even have my Kadabra to trade.

Could anybody tell me how to open a save in TGB Dual that was saved from VBA?

ok I had this same problem; and I am GOOOOOD with computers.. one of my responsibilities at my current job is repairing anything and everything having to do with our computers, internet, printers, fax machines, etc. I spent about 3 hours tonight trying to figure out how to convert my saved game in VBA into a file that can be used in TGB. At some point I realized I was making things WAAAY more complicated than they needed to be.

This works for EVERY visual boy advanced pokemon red, blue? and yellow rom. (I have pokemon red, this will work for every other pokemon game on vba also, but some will likely have different codes I checked into it and pokemon yellow definitely has the same codes, i.e. this should work for you to)

STEP ONE: Forget about Transfering
STEP TWO: open VBA. open your game (and open your save file)
STEP THREE: open your cheats menu
STEP FOUR: click "Cheat List"
STEP FIVE: click "ADD GAMESHARK..."
STEP SIX: for description. type in anything you want (i just put in the name of the pokemon that the code uses. in this case my cheats description is alakazam.. you can also leave this field blank.

STEP SEVEN: TYPE IN 01xxD8CF (turn the xx into the numbers and letters) every single random battle will be with the pokemon you choose until you disable (or delete) the cheat) ALAKAZAMs code is 95 so for ALAKAZAM to spawn in every single battle use the code is 0195D8CF . then press OK when you have typed in the code and description you want
