I've tried Kega Fusion, and also gens+. Had very little success with gens online mode since it seems very erratic.
Kega Fusion works almost perfectly except for one thing, the sound in a multiplayer game is very choppy. I've tried everything I can think of in terms of changing the settings etc. but the sound is still choppy to the point that I just disable it.
I'm looking to play 2 player genesis games over the internet, direct connection is best rather than anything with matchmaking services etc.
If anyone has a suggestion either of which other emulators might be worth checking out, or if there's anything else I can try to get Kega's sound working, I'd really appreciate it.
I've looked at MAME, but the Kaillera client multiplayer used in that and in gens+ doesn't seem to work very well for me. It frequently reports '0 servers' and all the buttons are completely black so I can't tell what they do.
Thanks for any help with this.
